Like most, I fell into recruitment starting in a high street chain with two days training, the Yellow Pages and the threat of my P45 if I didn’t find anyone a job within four weeks! Fast forward, I now run my own niche insurance recruitment business. I have built Next by developing strong, effective long term relationships, and have grown it largely through recommendations and referrals. Recruitment is first and foremost a people business, so I am fortunate that I have a natural affinity with people and a genuine passion for the insurance community.
I fiercely maintain a fundamental belief of always treating people the way you would want to be treated yourself.
In no industry can we stand still and my recent introduction of an in-house recruitment service, allowing clients to enjoy bespoke, flexible and concentrated talent delivery, used and paid for on an as-needs basis, is proving to be uniquely popular. I work hard to be a strong role model for women in the workplace and fiercely maintain a fundamental belief of always treating people the way you would want to be treated yourself.
I am incredibly proud and humbled to appear in the 50 Over Fifty initiative and to be the only recruiter to stand alongside this incredible talent pool, of whom I am in awe.
