I love working in Facilities. I have stayed in the department for 23 years and never once wanted to move to a different area. Both the business, Ageas, and the facilities department have grown over the years and the work we undertake has developed into a very busy multi-tasked role.
Facilities deal with a variety of requests in regard to things like security ID cards, access into/out of the building, booking of pool and hire cars for business travel, maintenance of our booking system for reserving desks, parking bays, meeting rooms on site, processing healthy working assessments, covering front of house to meet and greet visitors etc. We also assist the premises team by logging calls to them in relation to any issues with lighting, heating, broken equipment, lost keys etc.
Things are constantly changing and therefore you need to embrace change.
There are plenty of opportunities within Ageas to develop and progress. Things are constantly changing and therefore you need to embrace change, as if you do not keep up with the business, you will be left behind! I do also believe in a good work/life balance to ensure that you get time to relax with family and friends.
