Kate Headley | The Clear Company
Throughout my career I have been driven by my passion to celebrate difference.
Personally, I have felt the challenges and pressures of gender and disability expectations, and founding the Clear Company in 2003 was a natural step. We have an amazing team who address inclusion challenges with innovation and leadership. We place diversity and inclusion at the heart of what we do, are progressive leaders within our sector, and value excellence and collaboration to innovate and influence a more inclusive society.
As a female leader it has been important to be bold and hold true to my values.
I am proud to have worked closely with organisations across the insurance sector since 2015 and, although there is always more that can be done, it is also an example of what can be achieved through collaboration, respect and a pragmatic future focus.
Through Inclusion@Lloyd’s, the Clear Company delivered a Market- wide inclusive recruitment review leading to a D&I roadmap that continues to enable change and progress towards a consistent market standard.
More recently I have been appointed as Government Disability and Access Ambassador for the recruitment sector and am a founder partner of the government’s Disability Confident campaign. As a female leader it has been important to be bold, hold true to my values and have the confidence to create teams that can lead in their own right.
